Hearing impairment occurs when there's a problem with or damage to one or more part of the ear. their are different types of hearing loses such as conductive hearing loss, sensorineural hearing loss, and mixed hearing loss. Some of the reasons that people lose hearing is that they are really close to loud things which rips apart important things in the ear. Also when born something didn't develop right. they are different types of treatments for it, such as taking the ear wax out of the ear, if their is damage to the eardrum surgery can be done to it. Also you can get hearing aids.
